Although it has several names: “The City of Nostalgia”, “The Paris of Latin America”, and the “Port of our Lady the Virgin Mary of Good Winds”, the capital of Argentina is perhaps best known throughout the world as “Buenos Aires”. Spanish explorers were amongst the first to arrive followed by European immigrants who ultimately gave the City its unique mix of European sophistication, intriguing architecture and a lively culture in which the sultry tango thrives.
